Valquiria was born in Brazil in 1950. Her foray into the world of Body Psychotherapy began in Rio de Janeiro, at the age of 24. In the 80s, already in Mexico, she developed professionally as a Body Psychotherapist. In the beginning of the 90s she co-lead courses and supervision in Postural and Energetic Integration. In 1995 she met Willem Poppeliers with whom she began her training in Sexual Grounding Therapy®, certified as Therapist, then as Trainer. For 15 years she accompanied W. Poppeliers, creator of the SGT®, on the courses offered in Mexico. In 2010 she was invited to participate as Trainer in the European SGT® Therapist Training. Valquiria lives and teaches Body Psychotherapy in the Basque Country, northern Spain, where she has been living since 2008. She is part of the International Team of Trainers of Sexual Grounding Therapy® and member of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP).
Nacida en Brasil en 1950. A los 24 años empieza su incursión en el mundo de la Psicoterapia psicoanalítica, al principio y reichiana posteriormente. En los 80, ya en México empieza a desarrollarse como Psicoterapeuta Corporal en el Instituto Wilhem Reich bajo la orientación del Dr. Rafael Estrada Villa. Complementa sus estudios con la Maestra Mirian Muñoz en el Instituto Humanista Gestalt y con Jack Painter, PhD. En los años 90s da cursos y supervisiones de Caracterología Bioenergética, Desbloqueo Segmentário, Integración Postural e Energética. En 1995 conoce a Willem Poppeliers con el que comienza su entrenamiento como Terapeuta y Trainer de Arraigo Sexual®. Introduce esta terapia en México, misma que imparte como coterapeuta de Poppeliers y terapeuta durante 10 años.
Desde hace 5 años vive en el País Vasco, norte de España, donde imparte cursos de formación en Psicoterapia Corporal. Es Psicoterapeuta reconocida por la EABP, European Association for Body Psychotherapy y parte del equipo Internacional de Entrenadores de la Terapia de Arraigo Sexual®. Valquíria on the net
